Baltic Training Services actively engage with a wide and diverse population of learners, which provides us with one of our greatest strengths.  In order to continually build upon this we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity as part of our core business philosophy.

Our specialist team recognises the link between equality and quality and will not unfairly discriminate in the recruitment or general treatment of learners or staff on the basis of age, colour, disability, ethnicity, ethnic origin, gender, marital status, nationality, race religion, sexual identity, belief or any other factor.

The Matrix Standard                                         

As part of our on-going commitment to high standards of educational delivery and quality of service, we are proud to have achieved the Matrix standard.  This government quality standard ensures that we continually strive for excellence for ourselves and our clients, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future.

Safeguarding

As part of our continuing commitment to quality of provision, we ensure that all young and adult learners at risk are kept safe, healthy and free from harm whilst engaging in our training programmes; ensuring that all learners are aware of the procedure to follow should they have any concerns.

All of our staff who have regular contact with learners hold an enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check, carried out prior to commencement of employment; and our procedures ensure that all information regarding past or pending convictions as well as personal references are fully checked and validated.  We also ensure that all staff engaging with at-risk learners are provided with training in disclosure and child protection issues.
