Job Description

Job Title: Telesales Executive

General Purpose: Identifying potential customers via appropriate data bases and market research in order to conduct telesales activities

Responsible For: Generation of qualified sales appointments

Responsible to: Business Development Director

Main responsibilities:

  1. Conduct telesales activities to potential customers.
  2. Monitor telesales performance to ensure the appropriate number of sales leads are generated in accordance with KPI’s set by the Business Development Director.
  3. Promote the services of Baltic Training Services ensuring accurate information, advice and guidance is given.
  4. Maintain a high level of professionalism when communicating with potential clients.
  5. Management of data bases and CRM systems where appropriate
  6. Produce weekly Management reports

Specific Responsibilities

Direct: Responsible for engaging new potential clients

Technical: Contribute to the maintenance of internal and external client data bases

Confidential: Client information eg: Redundancies etc

Conditions: Pressure of work is high working with strict time limits and specific targets.

Monitoring: Maintain an effective system to carry out all aspects of the monitoring of telesales activity including potential leads.

Appraisal

All staff should have an appraisal each year with their line manager about their performance. The discussion will recognise good performance and address weaker areas. Most of the content will relate to the future and would result in specific plan for targets, training and development, to help the individual progress. Appraisals should be regarded as positive opportunities for assessment not directly concerned with discipline, grievance or redundancy.
